The intelligent Machinery Diagnostics System (iMDS-Server) is a web-based system designed to reduce the length and duration of machinery down time and convert some unplanned maintenance activities into scheduled maintenance. iMDS-Server also supports long-term reliability analysis by identifying recurring faults and trends.

iMDS-Server is designed to remotely collect data from any one of IAC’s growing family of adaptable interchangeable hardware and software machinery diagnostic products, including portable and permanently installed data acquisition systems for aviation, industrial and maritime applications. iMDS-Server provides operators and maintenance personnel with the information they need to make informed decisions to keep their machinery in operational condition while reducing costs.

How iMDS-Server Works
iMDS-Server hosts a large database and a wide array of advanced data analysis tools that allows users web-based access from any computer with a standard web browser to perform fault forecasting, fleet-wide data, statistics, trending, customizable summary reports, alert notification setup, remote data backup and software upgrades.

Fault Forecasting: Sometimes called “prognostics”, iMDS-Server is designed to help users forecast impending problems and repair them before failure by automatically screening incoming data to detect new or never before seen events or faults. This technology helps to reduce some unplanned maintenance.

Fleet Wide Data: iMDS-Server provides a centralized data repository where data and information from all machines is combined and stored. This powerful capability enables users to compare their machine status against all other machines of the same type and model, providing a fleet wide view of how their machine compares.

Trending: Actual fault data is used to generate the trend information data. iMDS-Server provides maintenance managers with actual fault-to-trend information allowing informed, pro-active decisions.

Reports: Operators can generate customized reports that compare component to component, machine to machine or fleets of machines against each other, provides only the information you need.

Alert Notification: Alert notifications can be implemented using email, text messaging or pager.

Software Upgrades: As new fault detection algorithms or software becomes available for any of IAC’s data acquisition systems, iMDS-Server enable remote software upgrades. This helps saves time and money.

iMDS-Server also provides automatic remote data backup and maintains the software integrity of connected remote system software and databases.

iMDS-Server is offered as a complete turnkey package that includes all software preloaded and tested on a state-of-the-art server or as a service for those who do not want the burden of storing and managing the data.
